After 10 years orchestral playing in Latin America I returned to the uk to train as a suzuki teacher. I hold a level 3 suzuki teacher qualification, and love to teach all ages from tots to retirees. My approach is one based on technique first with particular importance to good use of the body and it's resultant affect on tone production and ease of playing. Since the start of lockdown I have been training in the Kodaly method and am in the second year in a certificate from the british kodaly association. I run Kodaly classes for children from birth to 7 in Okehampton and also include Kodaly principles in my cello teaching.
Also available for orchestral, chamber music and sessions etc. Will travel anywhere if it works out for me. También hablo español. |
