JongBin Kim, Cello, has won prizes in the Baroque competition, Daegu Broadcast Competition, Busan Broadcast Competition, and Chosun Broadcast Competition. He has played with the Kwa Choen Philhamonic Orchestra, the Seoul Symphony Orchestra, and the Daegu Philhamonic Orchestra as the winner of Daegu Broadcast Competition. Mr. Kim has performed as principal cellist of National Police Orchestra in Korea and as a guest musician with the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra, KBS Symphony Orchestra,Bucheon Philhamonic Orchestra, and Gyoenggido Symphony Orchestra. Mr. Kim graduated from Seoul National University with a bachelor‟s degree and is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree at Peabody with Amit Peled. Mr. Kim has participated in masterclasses and festivals with artists such as Alto Noras, Paul Katz, and Luis Claret. |
