Heather has been teaching the cello for 20 years. She always plays alongside her pupils so they can see what she is doing and demonstrating, so copying good habits and sound is easy. Heather can also accompany pupils on the piano to advanced levels.
I would say my greatest strengths are getting beginners to produce a good sound very quickly, and instill great style and confidence in the playing.
Heather also likes working with advanced pupils, and always gives clear helpful hunts on what is going wrong and exactly how to put it right.
