Cellist Clara is a passionate musician, having over 7 years of performing experience and 6 years of teaching experience.

She is currently majoring both the Cello and the Viola da Gamba in France, under the tutelege of Marie-Madeleine Mille and Anne Gaurier. Previously, she studied under Leslie Tan [Cello Faculty of YST conservatory], Lin Juan (Masters, Royal Northern College of Music/ Manchester, UK) and Viktoriya Rhodini (Masters, Donetsk S.S.Prokofiev Academy of Music (Conservatory)/ Ukraine) while pursuing her performance diploma studies. Through masterclassed, she also had valuable opportunities to learn directly from masters of Romania, Russia, France and UK.

She has attained her music diploma in Cello performance from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. Currently, she is pursuing further studies, and aiming to specialize in music pedagogy and early music studies.

As a seasoned orchestra member, Clara has performed locally and abroad. She is a regular face in local orchestras such as Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra, The Philharmonic Orchestra and Musicians' Initiative (Previously The Young Musicians' Foundation Orchestra). Twice, she was selected as a Singapore representative to perform with the Seoul International Community Orchestra in Korea. She now also regularly plays with orchestras in France as part of her studies and professional engagements.

Clara also plays with the Fete Musicians, providing quartet and octet services for weddings and events. She is also privately engaged for various gigs, including MediaCorp live shows and overseas community outreach for music.

As a teacher, she as actively taught privately and with MOE for almost 7 years. While continuing online teaching with her Singaporean students, she is also engaged with music schools in France to provide in-person lessons. With ABRSM syllabus being her strong suit, she is also able to customize lessons to students, and even arrange music to cater to the students' levels or preferences. Solfege training and theory are also part of her teaching capabilities.

On the sideline, Clara plays the baroque cello and sings with Cappella Martialis as a soprano. She is also exploring session work and fusion bands, and regularly arranges and publishes sheet music, predominantly for Cello and String Quartets
