I have played cello for the past 40 years, mostly in community orchestras and recently a in string quartet. I am also the president of the Oregon Cello Society, based in Portland OR. The Oregon Cello Society supports student and adult cellists, amateurs and professionals, in the state of Oregon and Southwest Washington. We publish a newsletter (three issues/year), sponsor a yearly student scholarship competition, and offer occasional concerts for celli and other special events. Please contact us at oregoncello.org
