Ayanna’s musical accomplishments include having played the cello for 23 years and having performed professionally since she was 11 years old and as principal chair with various orchestral ensembles since she was 7. Ayanna was awarded the Academic Achievement Incentive Award in Music for the entire Atlanta Public School System in 1996.
She is currently a member of the Xi Lambda Omicron Family of Orchestra Professional Musicians and performs as an alumna with the Still Waters/Sin-fo-Nia Orchestra of DeKalb County, GA.
