Hello,
My name is Mark, I am an actor primarily and founder of an acting studio in central London called the Actors Temple (www.actorstemple.com).

I have been working with my close friend Caleb Packham (www.yogicaleb.com) in developing his Sattva yoga classes with live music playing throughout in support of the journey that this particular strand of Yoga takes its students on.

What started as a small class above a pub in London about a year and a half ago, with me playing and singing a Hindu 'Bhajan' to open and close the class has now developed into a much bigger experience with our last gathering held at The Steel Yard night-club in the City, with 5 musicians (2 guitars, drum, voices and various sound instruments from singing bowls to gongs) along with lighting and a full to capacity attendance of 80. We are calling it ‘Fusion Yoga’ and our aim is to develop it further by running the events monthly in ever more interesting venues and with ever bigger numbers of ’students’.

We play for the entire 2-hour journey and all the music is co-created by us during weekly practice sessions leading up to the events.

I am very keen to invite a cellist into our ensemble as I think it would perfectly compliment what we are doing.

This would suit a cellist who has an interest in yoga, spiritual/sacred music, developing ideas collectively through improvisation, being part of a fast-growing community with the collective desire to offer music and yoga as a healing tool and lifestyle support to as many people as possible.
